Society of Women Engineers’ WE21 is the largest conference for women engineers – with more than 16,000 women in engineering and technology gathering for three days of professional development, career advancement and networking. Teamed with a writer, I designed the key visual branding for the upcoming year of 2021 along with brand guidelines. This year’s theme is Aspire to Inspire where each visual features women from SWE’s professional and collegiate membership looking confident, with handwritten motivational messages and illustrated graphics that portray each type of engineering field. The words and phrases that radiate off of each SWE member encapsulate the concept of inspiration—inspiring others and being inspired by others.
